The food served is an expertly formed combination of traditional British cuisine with a touch of gourmet elements. The emphasis is on excellent quality, simple food, cooked and presented to a very high standard. All of our chefs take great pleasure in creating imaginative dishes using fresh produce which is locally sourced as much as possible. We are very luckily to have a strong kitchen team led by our head chef Nigel Wright.
Making a Reservation:
We take reservations for the dining room, however the lounge / bar area operates on a 'first come, first served basis' so there is no need to book. To book a table in the dining room please telephone us on 01439 788 212.
Groups, Parties & Special Occasions:
We can cater for groups of up to 70 and can provide a private dining room for up to 20 people. Our chefs are happy to work with you to provide personal menus tailored to your individual requirements.
The Fairfax Arms is a great venue for celebrations and functions of all sizes. As well as sit down meals we can provide a range of buffet menus to suit your needs. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Special Dietary Requirements:
Most of our menu is available in gluten free variations and we always have some vegetarian options on offer, however should you have any specific dietary needs please let us know in advance and we will do our best to cater to your requirements.
